Hey! So, today was pretty uneventful. Sam and I went gracery shopping... very thrilling. Afterwards though, I jumped in the driver's seat. It's interesting having a steering wheel in your lap while you're sitting on the 'passenger's' side. Driving in the left lane isn't so difficult, only the fact that most of the car is to your left, rather than your right, so I have to make sure that I don't drift too far left on the shoulder because then the curbside, parked cars, and the odd cyclist are in the strike zone. Roundabouts are a little freaky too, but I'll get the hang of them.
I REALLY need to get out of this tourist town, though. It's like living in Banff or Jasper. Very pretty, but very expensive, and I don't think it's an accurate depiction of the country because the people treat you exactly as you are, a tourist. They on't engage, and they're kinda testy, like we're intruding in their space.
